CPS School Fundraiser Open to Community, Seeking Local Businesses to Donate
Sauganash Elementary School PTA will hold its annual school fundraiser “An Enchanted Evening” on Saturday, June 10 from 6PM-11PM at the Holiday Inn Chicago North Shore at 5300 W. Touhy Ave. in Skokie. Tickets for the event are $75 per person and are available to purchase online until June 1 at sauganash.gesture.com. There will be no ticket sales at the door.
The event will have live and silent auctions, a sit-down dinner, open bar, dancing, and a DJ. Cocktail attire is recommended. Donations from businesses and individuals are being accepted for auction items. Please contact Sarah Creviston at creviston.sarah[at]gmail[dot]com to donate items or services by May 31.
“The benefit is a wonderful opportunity not only for parents, but also for community members to come together, celebrate, and raise funds for our neighborhood school,” said Sarah Datz, the event co-chair. “This year the money we raise will help pay for full-time teacher aide positions, after school programs, technology, and enhancements to our music program.”
Sauganash Elementary is one of 480 elementary schools in the Chicago Public School system. Continuously ranked a top-tier 1+ school, Sauganash serves the Far Northwest side as a K-8 neighborhood school with 592 students currently enrolled.
